May 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka's petroleum distributor, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has discovered that a stock of Jet A-1 fuel oil it imported was not up to the specifications when it inspected the shipment at the Colombo port.
A portion of Jet A -1 fuel oil from British Petroleum Co. in Singapore did not meet the specifications of the CPC. Accordingly, of the 20,000 Jet A-1 fuel imported 7,500 Mts were found to be slightly off specifications, the CPC said
