University entrance cut off marks are released. The marks were released under the patronage of Higher Education Minister S.B. Dissanayake.

The Z-score marks for the students who sat the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination last year are qualified to enter Universities were released today. The Z-score marks are now available in the University Grants Commission website www.ugc.ac.lk..

Accordingly, Minister S.B. Dissanayake told a news conference today that 20,274 students have been selected for University enrolment. 1147 students are selected for the Medical Faculty while 1347 have been selected for Engineering. The numbers selected to follow law is 348. Present at the news briefing was Chairman of the University Grants Commission Prof. Gamini Samaranayake.
