A cooler than average holiday weekend ahead. Also, keep the umbrella and rain gear handy with scattered shower chances. A stationary front will hang around the area through Saturday keeping our weather unsettled with more clouds, cool highs in the upper 70s, and scattered shower chances. Spotty showers are possible today with an increasing chance of getting wet on the 4th. A wave of low pressure will ride along the stalled boundary bringing more widely scattered showers to the area tomorrow. The bulk of the wet weather should be out of here by fireworks time, but we'll have to watch the forecast carefully. Sunday looks to be the best weather day of the holiday weekend. Drier, with more sunshine, and highs a bit milder, in the low to mid 80s. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend! Take the StormWatch7 weather app with you wherever your holiday plans take you!
