Campaign to collect signatures for March 12 Declaration continues

Signatures were obtained for the March 12 Declaration on Saturday as well.The March 12th declaration contains eight criteria that need to be looked into by political parties when providing nominations for candidates.

Signatures were obtained for the declaration on Saturday starting from Matara. Religious leaders and many other signed the declaration opposite the Matara bus stand on Saturday.

The campaign to obtain one million signatures to elect clean personalities to Parliament then reached Galle. People from Ambalangoda too joined the campaign.

People of Kalutara too joined with the campaign to place signatures on the declaration.
