Snow Possible Christmas Eve, NWS Predicts

WARSAW – There is a chance that some of northern Indiana will get at least a dusting of snow on Christmas eve, Thursday night, Dec. 24.
Northern Indiana is expected to be on the edge of a large storm system moving toward the East Coast, the National Weather Service said.
The forecast for Wednesday, Dec. 23, calls for mostly cloudy skies and a 60% chance of rain after 5 p.m. Winds will be gusty, up to 40 mph. The low will fall
Wednesday’s high will be near 50, but will then fall overnight to 21.
Temperatures will turn frigid on Thursday, falling from a high of 24 to a low near 13.
There is a 60% chance of snow, but any accumulation will be less than a half-inch.
Friday – Christmas Day – will bring a slight chance of snow showers in the morning. The high will be 21 and the low will be 15.
Saturday will be sunny with a high of 32.
