Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

  • 5:33 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, North SR 13 south of East South Barbee Drive, North Webster. Driver: Debra A. Bradford, 57, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Bradford was southbound on SR 13 south of South Barbee Drive, North Webster. Her vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 6:43 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, West CR 700S west of South CR 500W, Claypool. Driver: Cheryl L. Pitts, 58, West Hummingbird Drive, Mentone. Pitts was traveling eastbound on West CR 700S west of South CR 500W, Claypool. Her vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
  • 5:59 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, West CR 200S west of South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Emily A. Peterson, 20, Liberty Drive, Winona Lake. Peterson was traveling eastbound on West CR 200S, Warsaw. Her vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, East SR 14 west of South Packerton Road, Silver Lake. Drivers: Hung T. Vo, 56, East High Circle Drive, Warsaw, and Ashlen L. Morrow, 22, North Chauncey Street, Columbia City. Vo was traveling southbound on South Packerton Road in the area of East SR 14, Silver Lake. He failed to yield to Morrow, who was traveling eastbound on East SR 14, after stopping at an intersection. Their vehicles collided. Damage up to $25,000.
  • 5:07 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, South SR 19 south of West Welch Road, Mentone. Driver: Robert T. Lewis, 21, North CR 400W, Leesburg. Lewis was traveling northbound on South SR 19 south of West Welch Road, Mentone, when his vehicle went off the roadway. He overcorrected it, and his vehicle struck a pole and fence. He complained of neck pain and was taken to a hospital. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, East Hatchery Road east of CR 850E, Syracuse. Drivers: Rodney C. Scott, 74, Syracuse, and Juan M. Mestre, 31, Plaza Drive, Fort Wayne. Scott was traveling eastbound on East Hatchery Road, Syracuse. He tried to go around Mestre’s vehicle as they were traveling up a hill and hit it. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

  • 3:31 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 650 W. CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Midori Snyder, 67, East Half Street, Urbana. Snyder was parking her vehicle in the TJ Maxx parking lot and hit a parked vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

  • 4:33 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, SR 25 and CR 350E, Rochester. Driver: Jonathan M. Martin, 25, Fulton. Hit deer.
