Thajudeen’s body to be exhumed – son of VIP politician to be questioned
The body of rugby player Wasim Thajudeen, who was mysteriously murdered, is to be exhumed next week say reports.
The police state Wasim Thajudeen was murdered to show that he died in an accident. Rugby player’s charred remains were discovered inside a car, which had reportedly crashed into a wall near Shalika Grounds in Narahenpita on May 27, 2012.
Media too had reported that the ‘B’ report forwarded by the police at the time was suspicious. CID has stated there were disparities in the reports of the Judicial Medical Officer and the post-mortem examination.
The CID is to question a son of an ‘executive’ politician regarding the murder.
