WARSAW — A GoFundMe account has been created to assist a local family after they lost their home in a fire last Sunday.

Fire crews were alerted just before 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, to a fire at 3762 West Old Road 30 in WestHaven Estates.

John and Amanda Reece and their four children, ages, 9, 12, 13 and 14, are currently staying at a hotel but are running out of money — and time.

According to John Reece’s brother, Floyd Patterson, a home has been found for the family; however, they need $1,500 to secure the property.
