Jo Ousnamer

Marlene “Jo” Ousnamer, 84, passed away at 7:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth.

She was one of two daughters born to Cleo M. and Cordella M. (Cannan) Lacher. She graduated from Lincoln High School.

Jo would marry Buddy W. “Bud” Ousnamer at Plymouth First Christian Church on Aug. 23, 1952. He would precede her in death on Feb. 1, 2006.

Jo worked for Bosworths as a buyer and salesclerk for 20 years until her retirement in 1989. Bud and she enjoyed restoring antique furniture for many years.

Surviving is her son, Craig A. (Rhonda) Ousnamer of Plymouth; grandchildren; David L. Ousnamer, Amanda R. (Caleb) Thomas and Benjamin A. Helbling; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bud; son Marc; parents and her sister, Della.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth with Life Celebrant Jim Smart officiating. Visitation will be held prior from 11-1 p.m.

Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
