Food Bank Distributing Frozen Turkeys In Four Counties

SOUTH BEND — The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is distributing frozen turkeys at four nearby locations on Monday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 24.

All turkeys are provided by Beacon Health System employees.

Marshall County
9-11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23
Webster Elementary School, 1101 S. Michigan St., Plymouth

Elkhart County
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23
Concord Mall, 3701 S. Main St., Elkhart (by Carson Pirie Scott)

LaPorte County
noon to 2 p.m. Central Standard Time Tuesday, Nov. 24
LaPorte Salvation Army, 3240 Monroe St., LaPorte

St. Joseph County
2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24
Kroger, 906 S. Merrifield Ave., Mishawaka

This distribution will provide frozen turkeys for up to 500 households per event and is for one turkey per household. Distribution works on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last. This is a drive-thru distribution event. Stay in your vehicle and open your trunk to receive a turkey. An area will be available for self-loading if your trunk does not open.
