Leonard Doyle Davidson

Leonard Doyle Davidson, 69, Lagro, died at 9:16 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at his son’s home. He was born on June 27, 1951, in Wabash, to Isaac and Ethel (Enyart) Davidson.

Leonard was a truck driver. He married Penelope “Penny” Peltier in Linton March 29, 1970; she died Aug. 19, 2017. Leonard enjoyed trucks, horses, telling stories, and especially spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his son, William (Kelly) Davidson of Lagro, five grandchildren, Zach (Heidi Koch) Rife and Cody (Shady Tharp) Davidson, both of Wabash, Harley Davidson, Zakk Lee, and Brionna Davidson, all of Lagro, five great-grandchildren, Kinlin Rife, Major Davidson, Makinley Koch, Laikynn Koch, and Harper Davidson, four sisters, Violet (Rex) Mowery and Rose Mary Kendall, both of Wabash, Carolyn Mowery of Marion, and Rowena (Claren) Goad of Fort Wayne, four brothers, Gerald Davidson of North Manchester, Nolan Davidson, Wendell (Charlotte) Davidson, and Allan Davidson, all of Wabash.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash with Rev. Charlie Easterday officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 5-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is to the family for expenses.
