Sri Lanka’s DFCC, USAID join hands to promote women entrepreneurship
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s DFCC Bank and the USAID, the aid agency of United States, inked a partnership to internationally develop women entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka and to take the process forward.
A program was held in Kurunegala in the North Central province with 75 targeted small and medium scale women entrepreneurs
“This programme was not a one-off event and is part of our continuous and ongoing efforts to engage with women entrepreneurs and provide them with the guidance and support they need to succeed,” Asiri Iddamalgoga Senior Vice Presidnet Retail Banking & SME at DFCC Bank said in statement.
“DFCC Bank also recently entered into a partnership with USAID, to increase accessibility to credit and create new opportunities for women entrepreneurs. Working together with our partners and stakeholders, we are helping to lead the way towards a more empowered, equitable Sri Lanka for all.” (Colombo/May 26/2022)
