Galle and Dambulla poised to make it to final

Galle and Dambulla were on course to having easy passage to the finals of the Sri Lanka Cricket National Super League 2023 following their respective semi final exchanges against Kandy and Jaffna respectively on the third and penultimate day Galle led Kandy by a mammoth overall lead of 576 having dismissed their opponents for 227 on a first innings score of 658 and gone on to make 145 for the loss of 1 wicket at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium. Meanwhile, Dambulla enjoyed an overall lead of 444 over Jaffna who were bowled out for 236 on a first innings leash of 426 at the P. Saravanamuththu Stadium. Dambulla were 256 for 6 in the second innings with all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva having cracked 95 off 66 balls topped by 6 over the top and 7 across in following up a brilliant 6 for 46 with the ball.
