AShangri-La Colombo, the official host hotel for the 20th year edition of Colombo Fashion Week, welcomed three renowned Indian celebrity designers, who showcased their latest collections at the event. This much-awaited fashion week took place from 29 March to 1 April 2023 at Shangri-La Colombo, and featured some of the most iconic fashion trends and styles from the subcontinent, alongside established and up-and-coming designers from Sri Lanka.

The three Indian celebrity designers participated in the event are the highly acclaimed Tarun Tahiliani, Suneet Varma, David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore of renowned Indian fashion label They are at the forefront of the Indian fashion design industry, globally recognised for their distinctive styles and unique designs, and their presence add an extra dimension of glamour and style to CFW.

Shangri-La Colombo, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic and luxurious five-star hotels, located in the heart of Colombo, was the Official Hospitality Partner of CFW since the hotel’s inception, and it played an integral role in the growth and success of this prestigious fashion event. The hotel featured stunning views of the Indian Ocean, exceptional hospitality, and world-class amenities, making it an ideal destination for business and leisure travellers alike.
