Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad for four-day games against South Africa ‘A’ Team

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has selected the following Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad to take part in the two four-day games against South Africa ‘A’ Team.
1. Nishan Madushka
2. Lasith Croospulle
3. Kamindu Mendis – Vice Captain
4. Pasindu Sooriyabandara
5. Nipun Dhananjaya – Captain
6. Lahiru Udara (WK)
7. Janith Liyanage
8. Lasith Embuldeniya
9. Lakshitha Rasanjana
10. Dilshan Madushanka
11. Milan Rathnayake
12. Praveen Jayawickrama
13. Vishwa Fernando – will not play owing to injury.
14. Ramesh Mendis
15. Minod Bhanuka (WK)
16. Nuwanidu Fernando

Note to Editors
– Lahiru Samarakoon was included in the squad in place of Vishwa Fernando.
– Lasith Embuldeniya will be replaced by Shashika Dulshan in the second four- day game.

The squad was issued subject to the pending approval of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
