Mind Star second stage ready

Independent Television Network’s “DFCC Mindstar” which revolutionized the Sri Lankan reality programme, enters the second stage. Initial interviews for qualified competitors were conducted throughout the country today for the launch of the second stage.

The “DFCC Mindstar” programme became much popular among TV viewers. Not only in Colombo, but the village folk were eagerly viewing this programme. Accordingly, the second stage is now being launched. The competitive examination for the Colombo District was held at the C.W.W. Kannangara Maha Vidyalaya.

Meanwhile, another examination for the selection of competitors was held at the Valisinha Harischandra Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura. The examination was conducted with the support of the School Principal L. Thilakasiri and the staff.

The competitive examination to select competitors of the Badulla and Moneragala Districts were held at the Badulla National School. 54 competitors faced the examination. Our correspondents reported that these examinations were also successfully held at many centres countrywide.

Many competitors had come forward to participate in the second “Mindstar” programme from the Jaffna District. Initial competitions were held at the Hindu Primary College in Jaffna throughout today.
