Hayleys support for Colts CC
Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd, a well-known household name which is a fully owned subsidiary of Hayleys PLC has stepped in to cricket scene as they signed a sponsorship agreement with the Colts Cricket Club (CCC), Colombo recently. The signing took place at the Colts Club followed by a press conference. With the theme of ’fostering cricket at grass roots level’ Hayleys in its first foray in to the sports arena joined in partnership with this premier cricket club of the country. Initially the sponsorship will be for a one year with a total commitment of Rs 1.5 million. Speaking at the press briefing Hayleys PLC Group Director and Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd MD Rizvi Zaheed said, as cricket has become a hot subject with the forthcoming World Cup tournament we are going to make this opportunity in popularizing our products while supporting the development of the sport.
