More donations for ITN’s flood relief programme

More donations are being received to the programme mooted by the Independent Television Network to help families impacted by adverse weather.

Voluntary Organisations as well as philanthropists from all corners of the country are handing over their donations to ITN. Their desire is to help those who are experiencing difficulties as a result of floods. There was a high response from all parts of the country, since ITN unveiled the programme to assist families affected by adverse weather.

The Ninja Mosquito Coil establishment of Darley Butler handed in a stock of aid to ITN this afternoon. The stock included goods very much needed by the flood victims in addition to mosquito coils. Chief Executive Officer Sanjeewa Gunawrdena and Marketing Manager Ivin Jesumani handed over the goods.

More donations collected by Damro were handed over to ITN. The stock handed over by senior officials of the Damro Company was worth around one million rupees. It included dry ration parcels.

ITN will continue to collect flood aid at its Head Office premises as well as at the Marketing Division at Bauddhaloka Mawatha in Colombo.
