Govt. To Reintegrate Over 400 LTTE Members To Society
The government is to reintegrate to society over 400 former LTTE members following rehabilitation this week.
Commissioner General for Rehabilitation Brigadier Sudantha Ranasinghe has told the media that a group of about 425 former LTTE members will be reintegrated to society on the 23rd.
Following the end of the war close to 11,000 members of the LTTE were taken under the military.
According to the government, over 7,000 former LTTE members have been rehabilitated so far and some 4,100 are yet to be reintegrated to society.
