Sri Lanka expects one million tourists this year

Sri Lanka Tourism aims at attracting over one million tourists this year,

Senior Minister Dr.Sarath Amunugama has revealed this to top businessmen in the United States. He said that 600 thousand tourists arrived in Sri Lanka last year the country attracted over 600,000 tourists last year and they anticipated one million tourists this year. Minister Dr. Amunugama claimed that Sri Lanka tourism that gathered rapid momentum and their goal was to target over 2.5 million tourists between 2013 and 2015. Dr. Amunugama made these revelations at a high level meeting with top US business magnates. Many US businessmen had expressed willingness to invest in Sri Lanka in various spheres.
