World amazed over Darusman’s Most Disciplined Certificate handed in to the LTTE

- itnnews.lk

The Darusman Report has emphasized that the LTTE was the most disciplined force. As such queries are being raised that the report, which has leveled baseless allegations against the Sri Lanka Government troops, had been compiled on the needs of the terrorist outfit.

The Report of the Panel which has been officially made public had mentioned that the LTTE which began as a Tamil Liberation Movement was the most disciplined and the most nationalist of the Tamil militant groups. But various groups which are aware of the real history of LTTE terrorism are shocked over the contents of the Darusman Report. The terrorist outfit from the beginning had made attempts to meet their ruthless objectives through brutality.

The LTTE terrorist outfit from its inception killed political leaders, innocent civilians and members of the Security Forces, displaying its brutality. It was the 1980s that they incorporated suicide attacks to their outfit. The LTTE clearly displayed its ruthlessness by attacking places of Buddhist worship.

120 devotees were killed in the attack unleashed on the Sri Maha Bodhi in Anurdhapura. 103 Islamic devotees died in the attack the LTTE launched on the Kattankudi Mosque in 1990. It was during this era that 90 thousand Muslims were driven out from their villages in Jaffna. It is only the Darusman and his group is aware that the LTTE launched a suicide attack on the Sri Dalada Maligawa during the year 1998, due to its disciplinary behaviour. The LTTE which killed 120 innocent civilians by storming into a bus at Kitul-Uthuwe in 1987, also murdered 110 civilians during the same year by exploding a bomb. They also cut and chopped and brutally murdered 34 Buddhist monks at Arantalawa on June 2nd the same year. People’s leaders such as Ranasinghe Premadasa, Lakshman Kadirgamar, A. Amirthalingam and Gamini Dissanayake and members of the Defence hierarchy such as Denzil Kobbekaduwa and Clancy Fernando sacrificed their lives in the face of LTTE brutalism. Rajiv Gandhi also had to sacrifice his life with the spread of terrorism to India.

The number of political leaders, civil society activists, religious leaders as well as innocent civilians and children for several decades up to May 2009 through the tiger bullets is unaccountable. There is video footage as to how innocent civilians conquered marshy lands and ran in search of life. It was purely due to it brutalism that the LTTE was listed as a proscribed outfit in more than 15 countries including India, Canada, the United States and Britain. Analysts point out that by describing such an outfit as a most discipline force by the Darusman Report is an insult to these countries. The Darusman Panel Report which claims the LTTE to be a discipline outfit and branding the soldiers who were rescued from the terrorists as war criminals, is now earning resentment in the world
