West Indies beat Australia to walk away with the Women’s T20 World Cup.
Australia decided to take to the crease after winning the toss.
Australia put up a total of 148 for the loss of five wickets. E.J Villani put up 52 run alongside skipper M.M Lanning who also chip in 52 runs.
West Indies openers set the stage with H.K Matthews putting up 66 runs in 45 balls with S.R Taylor put up 59 runs before D.J.S Dottin and B.Cooper managed to gather the remaining runs to guide the West Indians to a eight-wicket victory.
