Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo relocates their Kiddies’ Camp to the swimming pool with their ‘Pool Party’ themed Camp this month. The hotel’s pool is known for being one of the most spectacular in the city and the poolside is certainly a popular venue for children’s parties.

On Saturday, 17 September, the hotel hosts the party of pool parties with several pool games, heaps of kiddies’ snacks and gifts. Children will play the Cannonball Splash where they will compete to see who makes the biggest splash when cannonballing into the pool. The game makes for interesting photo opportunities, which the Kiddies’ Camp official photographer will try to capture. Keep checking our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cinnamonlakeside for the highlights.

The Kiddies’ Campers will put their swimming skills to the test with the ‘Keep it dry’ game. Children must swim from one end of the pool to the other with the challenge of not getting a dry object wet. Amongst the games will also be the Dog Race, Tug of War and a game called Transport.
Amongst the many prizes that the hotel gives out, Kiddies’ Camp partner Tomahawk also generously gives away a bicycle to a lucky Camper every month. The winner is allowed to choose from the bicycle selection that Tomahawk display.
Children consistently have a whale of a time at Kiddies’ Camp and have even made their own Kiddies’ Camp friends who they meet once a month at the programme and in some cases more often than that.
Parents are advised to pack swimming gear for the kids and a change of clothes, generally an essential for fun loving kids.
The children-friendly buffet will comprise chocolate éclairs, chocolate cake, mini pizzas, pasta, mini burgers, ice cream, sandwiches, French fries and heaps more to keep the kids happy the entire afternoon. Kiddies’ Camp is reasonably priced at Rs. 750 ++++ for children below 12 and at Rs. 950 ++++ for accompanying adults; the perfect excuse to treat the kids and their friends to an exhilarating afternoon without the trouble of organizing games and food oneself. Reservations will be undertaken on 2491998.
