How can Sri Lankan charities find international donors and partners?

CHILDREN IN THE NORTH, EAST AND SOUTH EXCELL IN THE SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION

Results of the Grade Five scholarship examination have been released. Many including from the North and the East have excelled in the Examination. The Examination was conducted on the 21st of last month and the Examinations Department had succeeded in releasing the results within a short span of less than four weeks. Based on the results three students have secured the first place securing 195 marks.

Three students are Oshadhi Rashiprabha Fonseka of the Kalutara Balika Maha Vidyalaya,

Vihangi Nethmi Ranaweera of the Miriswatta Maha Vidyalaya in Dodangoda, and

Naleem Zaky Ahmed of the Kekirawa Muslim Maha Vidyalaya.

In addition to these three students who had secured the first place in the island, there are two students who had next performed well in the Examination securing 194 marks. They are Eshan Lakshitha Sumanapala of the Medagama Maha Vidyalaya at Bibila in Moneragala. The other student is Parameshwaran Sethuragavan of the Netthalai-aru Tamil Vidyalaya of Vishwamadu West in Mullaitivu displaying signs of bright and intellect students being produced from areas where peace has been enthroned. A notable feature is that children from the Rambaikulam Maha Vidyalaya of Vavuniya, Al Ashrak Maha Vidyalaya in Ninthavur and St. John’s Bosco College of Jaffna excelling in the Examination and securing places among the first 10.
