DIMO together with Bank of Ceylon organised another very successful ‘Riya Pola’ recently at the Kadawatha New Town complex. A large number of individual and corporate customers participated in the event.
Tata Commercial vehicles and Tata Passenger vehicles were displayed and demonstrated at the ‘Riya Pola,’ while BOC arranged special customised leasing schemes at the location.

The ‘Riya Pola’ was inaugurated by Deputy Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Lasantha Alagiyawanna, DIMO Director Channa Weerawardane, BOC DGM H.M. Mudiyanse, BOC Additional General Manager Dr. C. Samarasinghe, BOC AGM Kularatne and GM – TATA Commercial Vehicles Vijitha Bandara. Sales Manager – TATA Commercial Vehicle Sales Gihan Fernando and Manager – TATA Colombo Branch Nalinda Kurukulasooriya also participated at the opening.
DIMO arranged facilities to issue quotations and invoice vehicles, whilst BOC arranged hassle free quick leasing facilities to the customers. More than 170 vehicles were confirmed for delivery to customers during the mega vehicle exhibition at the ‘Riya Pola’.
This is another milestone in the DIMO-BOC tie up, where two giants in their respective industries have come together to provide an affordable transportation solution at the customers’ doorstep.
BOC with their network of 309 branches will use this initiative to reach potential customers in towns and villages across the country.
