PROUD of its local heritage, award winning John Keells Hotel Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo hosts a celebration of Sri Lankan culture monthly.
The feast includes just about every imaginable Sri Lankan dish from stringhoppers, pittu, kottu, fish ambulthiyal, tripe curry to egg hoppers, crispy hoppers and stuffed hoppers with a twist!

The dessert counter is filled with lankan treats such as lavariya, dodol, milk toffee, kokis, kavum, asmi, halapa, mungkavum, coconut rock and banana fritters. Just as we do at home after a satisfying dinner, relax with a cup of tea to complete the meal.
In typical Sri Lankan fashion, a calypso band makes its way round to each table playing some of the golden oldies that take us down memory lane.  Feel free to request your favourites. Hopper Night takes place next on Friday 30 September and 7 October at the Terrace, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, a venue with a view that is best experienced oneself.
Hopper Night is a popular event at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo therefore it is advisable to make an early reservation on 2491998.
The buffet opens at 7 p.m. and remains until 11 p.m., and at Rs. 1,200+++ it is true value for money.
