Textured Jersey net profit rise in Q1 2012 financial year
Sri Lanka’s fabric manufacturer Textured Jersey Lanka Limited has earned a net profit of Rs. 144 million during the 1st quarter of the 2012 financial year.
This is compared to just Rs. 61 million achieved during the same period of last year.
Its revenues during the 1st quarter of the 2012 financial year have risen to Rs. 2.7 billion, a 32.9% increase, when compared with the figures of the same period of last year.
The Company’s Gross Profit during the period has also seen a year on year growth of 56.3% to stand at Rs. 252 million while the Gross Profit Margin stands at 9.2%.
Earnings before Interest and Tax during the said quarter has climbed by 143.6% year on year to reach Rs. 156 million, while the EBIT margins during the period stands at 5.7%.
Textured Jersey Lanka Limited is a specialized fabrics manufacturer and recently raised over a billion rupees via an IPO.
