After successfully delighting consumers with the refreshing taste of Minute Maid Orange and Minute Maid Mango, Coca-Cola Sri Lanka yesterday announced the launch of the new Apple flavour under the Minute Maid brand umbrella.

The latest offering from The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) is a truly refreshing apple juice-based drink and has been developed especially for consumers in Sri Lanka keeping in mind their taste preferences.
Minute Maid Apple aims to provide consumers with an unmatched taste and the brand’s innovative consumer proposition is best explained by the tagline – ‘Jeewithayata Rasayak – Taste of Life’.
Minute Maid Apple is being made available in 200 ml returnable glass bottles (RGB) at retail outlets across the island and is affordably priced at Rs. 40. The latest innovation after Minute Maid Orange and Minute Maid Mango is targeted at consumers across all age groups who desire great tasting options for a refreshing juice drink.
The new Minute Maid Apple flavour, just like other Minute Maid flavours, is made out of choicest fruits and each flavour appreciates the love and fondness for fruits that its Sri Lankan consumers desire.
The launch of Minute Maid Apple will be further supported by intensive consumer communication program including airing of TV commercial, Radio and print advertising, out-of-home media and retail activation.
Speaking on the occasion Patrick Pech, Country Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd., said, “We have consistently been working to ensure best quality products for all our consumers.
Having established our juice credentials with the successful launch of Minute Maid Orange and Mango juice drinks, we are now launching the Minute Maid Apple flavour to offer more choices to the consumers who desire great-tasting beverages.
The addition of Minute Maid Apple to our existing roster of juice brands not just adds to the company’s footprint in the juice segment but also is an affirmation of our commitment to the juice business.”
Abhishek Jugran, Country Manager, Sri Lanka and Maldives at Coca-Cola Far East Limited, said: “We at Coca-Cola have always been driven by the passion to fulfil the replenishment needs of our consumers on an everyday, all day level. As part of the same strategy, it gives me immense pleasure to announce the launch of Minute Maid Apple.
The roll out of this refreshing, Apple based beverage has been designed to further extend the company’s market presence in the juice drink segment and provide the Sri Lankan consumers with top-quality beverage options at affordable prices.” The history of Minute Maid brand goes as far back as 1945 when the Florida Foods Corporation launched the brand Minute Maid. The Coca-Cola Company subsequently acquired the Minute Maid brand in 1960.
Over the years, through continuous innovations and unmatched consumer experience provided in over 60 countries, Minute Maid is now one of the world’s leading juice and juice drink brands.
