Kenanga ties-up with Management Systems for fund management software

Kenanga Investments Corporation Ltd., (KICL) has tied up with Management Systems Ltd. (MSL) for fund management software solutions.
KICL was established in Sri Lanka in 2007 and specialises in capital markets activities with core strengths in investment banking and fund management. In the recent past KICL has successfully concluded over 10 billion worth of deals including IPO’s, listing by way of introduction, Corp Debentures and Financial restructuring of companies.

KICL is the overseas investment arm of Malaysian Listed Investment Bank K&N Kenanga Holdings Berhard. K&N Kenanga is a leading provider of Wealth Management, Corporate Finance and Investment Banking Services. As of 31 August 2011, Kenanga Holding Berhad had US$ 850 million of total asset under management.
Management Systems Limited, market leader in providing software solutions for the Fund Management Operations and Unit Trust operations in Sri Lanka. MSL specialises in fund management, unit trust operations, financial accounting systems, payroll management systems and website designing. MSL is also widely recognised for its reliable offshore/outsourcing capabilities. MSL Computer Systems is currently the market leader in providing software solutions for the fund management operations and unit trust operations in Sri Lanka. Once fully implemented, this system will be an important tool to KICL to meet the demanding requirements of investment management, client reporting and compliance.
KICL Chief Executive Officer Shahid Sangani said that with the boom in the economic activities and the resulting growth in the equities market, KICL has identified a gap in the services available for individuals and corporate to participate in the stock market in a professional manner with quality research and sound advisory services. With the technical support of our Malaysian Partners in research and marketing, KICL will fill this gap with the provision of wealth management services to Sri Lankan living overseas and wishing to participate in the Colombo stock exchange.
