SC calls for full report on Golden Key depositors
The Supreme Court directed the relevant authorities to submit to Court a comprehensive report before November 14th with the names of the depositors together with the figure they have deposited with the Golden Key Finance Company.
The Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake Justices Gamini Amaratunga and K Sripavan were of the view that without those information they are not in a position to derive at a method to make payment to the depositors who have deposited a large sum of their savings in the Company.
The case will be heard on December 1st.
