A public forum titled “Combating corruption and fraud : a pragmatic approach for Sri Lanka” was held in Colombo on Tuesday (May 28th). The event was organised by the Bar association of Sri Lanka.

Additional Solicitor General, Yasantha Kodagoda PC stated that the powers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption should be expanded so that they could investigate and prosecute instances of money laundering, arising out of the proceeds of bribery and corruption.
