ANC Education is sponsoring EDEX Expo in the Platinum category for the 2nd successive year in the forthcoming year 2012.
Established in 2002 with the vision to be the first choice in tertiary education in Sri Lanka, ANC Education is a market leader for private education in Sri Lanka. It is the only establishment in the country offering a full spectrum of education programmes from pre-school to university courses. These programmes are offered through ANC’s Modern Montessori International (MMI), Wycherly International School, ANC Education and NetAssist International.
ANC Education facilitates education without borders, providing higher education of some of the best universities in the world right here in Sri Lanka as well as assisting students in completing studies abroad. “We are in partnership with 16 academic universities. Six of these, Monash, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Missouri S&T and Northwood are ranked within world’s top 200 universities as per Times Higher Education 2011””, revealed Dr. Punarjeeva Karunanayake, CEO of ANC Education.
ANC Education is also a regional leader in education with approximately 10% of student population being international students from countries including India, Maldives, South Korea, China and Europe.
ANC Education employs experienced and highly qualified local and foreign lecturers. “Nearly 70% of ANC Education faculty holds doctorates from overseas universities and our degree programmes are monitored by partner universities. To ensure that Sri Lankan students receive the same quality of education, even the latest teaching technologies are adopted,” stated Dr. Upali Mampitiya, Chief Academic Officer of ANC Education.
Commenting on the partnership with EDEX Expo, Dr. Karunanayake stated, “ANC Education is a 7 year participant at EDEX Expo and the relationship is getting stronger. EDEX Expo is the largest and best established educational exhibition in the country, attracting quality students from local and London examination bases. It offers a perfect opportunity to reach out to prospective students.”
“As Sri Lanka continues its development, Sri Lankan youth need skills, education and technologies different from those required by previous generations. EDEX Expo brings information on education and education service providers to today’s youth and their parents in one convenient location at one time. It’s a valuable community service,” added Dr. Karunanayake.
Commenting further, Dr. Karunanayake stated “Education options and career opportunities are a confusing maze for many students and parents alike. EDEX Expo allows students and parents to conveniently compare their options and make the best choice for them. Students and parents can make successful choices while saving time and costs, eliminating frustration.”
Kamal Abeysinghe Chairman EDEX acknowledging the sponsorship stated “ANC has been a longstanding participant of EDEX Expo from its inception in 2004 and a gold sponsor in 2010. We are indeed very happy to welcome them as a Platinum sponsor this time for the second successive year.
EDEX is the pioneering higher education and careers exhibition in Sri Lanka organized by Royal College Union attracting the largest and most diverse number of local and overseas participants held annually in Colombo and Kandy. The 9th EDEX expo will be held on January 20th, 21st and 22nd at BMICH Colombo and on January 26th & 27th at the Kandy City Centre, respectively. Email info@edex.lk. Website www.edex.lk
