Special committee to probe AL fiasco
President Mahinda Rajapaksa has appointed a special committee of eminent persons to look into the blunder caused in the release of the marks of the Advanced Level examination, Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena said.
He said the committee will address the grievances raised by students and report on ways in which the problem can be sorted out.
The Minister added that there would no remarking of papers and said that the blunder had been caused due to a computer error. “If any students want to get their marks clarified, they can do so by visiting the Examination Department,” he said.
