A.H.M. Fowzie’s son to be arrested
(Srilankamirror) - The son of senior minister A.H.M. Fowzie is to be arrested in connection with a reported threatening of a push cyclist at a Colombo road.
Nauzer Fowzie, a western provincial councillor, had tried to run over the cyclist and then threatened him at gunpoint at Torrington Avenue three days ago, the Colombo Crime Division informed Colombo chief magistrate Rashmi Singappuli today (Jan. 16).
The CCD said the accused as well as his Montero jeep, bearing no: KH 0786 and his pistol, would be apprehended.
