The popularity of Hopper Night at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo is understandable. Every month, the hotel gives guests a taste of authentic Sri Lankan food, in a spread fit for a king, at a price anyone can afford.
This time the event will take place on Friday, 27 January from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Diners will enjoy a blissful evening at the Terrace beside the hotel’s infinity pool and the Beira waterfront.  Crispy stuffed hoppers and egg hoppers, string hoppers, kottu rotti, vegetables and meat curries, pittu, babath, chicken curry, fish ambulthiyal and many other Sri Lankan favourites are prepared by the chefs and served piping hot.
A Calypso band makes its way around each table entertaining guests and obliging with requests.
Just about every imaginable local dessert will decorate the dessert counter.  Be it lavariya, dodol, milk toffee, kokis, kavum, asmi, halapa, mung kavum, coconut rock or banana fritters, every bite will take you further back in time to when these treats were prepared at home just for you. To complete the journey, the staff will then serve a traditional ginger tea.  When the night draws to a close you may find comfort in the assurance that the Hopper Night will return with more treats very soon. To enjoy this fabulous offer at just Rs. 1,200++++, contact the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Poolside on 2491998.
