Sri Lanka says no changes to the National cricket team
Sri Lanka says it has so far not taken a decision to make changes to the national cricket team.
Issuing a statement, the Ministry of Sports said, no decision has been taken with regard to changing the captain, the management and the national selectors.
The latest statement comes in the wake of several media reports published today, which said that the authorities are planning to bring in several changes to the national side.
Meanwhile, the Ministry Spokesman Harsha Abeykoon said the Sri Lankan cricketing authorities will meet this evening to discuss the national team’s current plight.
According to Abeykoon, Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Ministry Secretary and SLC Chief Upali Dharamadasa will also take part in this meeting.
