State institutions owe Rs. 4,770 million to CPC
Srilankamirror - Various state institutions owe monies to the tune of Rs. 4,770 million to the CPC last year alone for providing fuel at subsidized rates.
The Yugadhanavi power plant in Kerawalapitiya owes Rs. 4,700 million to the CPC while Mihin Lanka owes monies amounting to Rs. 14,700 million, CPC sources have said.
The monies due to the CPC from the CEB stand at Rs. 12,000 million while the three armed forces owe Rs. 9,800 million.
The Road Development Authority owes the CPC Rs. 570 million, the Maga Neguma project Rs. 240 million, Sri Lanka Transport Board Rs. 105 million and the Railway Department Rs. 3,790 million.
