DIMO recently moved into a new spacious location from their existing office at Anuradhapura. The new Anuradhapura branch is situated along the Sri Sambuddaththwa Jayanthi Mawatha, close to the Anuradhapura town.

The new branch was opened by Ranjith Pandithage and his wife in the presence of Gahanath Pandithage, Vijitha Bandara, Mahesh Karunaratne, Gihan Fernando and Hemal Ratnayake (Manager –Anuradhapura Branch).
The new DIMO Anuradhapura branch is equipped to carry out sales and services of TATA commercial vehicles, TATA passenger cars and the sales and distribution of Tata genuine parts. The service facility boasts of 14 workshop bays, three washing bays and two hoists for commercial and passenger vehicles.
In addition to the above the branch consists of a modern customer waiting area, latest equipment and tools to repair and diagnose vehicles, canteen, workmen’s changing room and rest room and a water treatment and purification plant.
The old branch location is being converted to handle all accident repairs of TATA vehicles, reducing the need to take commercial vehicles to DIMO in Siyambalape. These developments have been initiated to cater to the growing demand and sales of TATA vehicles, especially DIMO Batta and TATA Nano. The new branch is capable of handling up to 70 vehicles for servicing per day.
Apart from TATA vehicles, the branch also markets Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, Mahindra tractors, Claas harvesters, Osram lighting, Siemens Delta vega switches, Komatsu heavy machinery, MRF tyres, Kumho tyres and TATA genuine spares for all models.
In 1939 DIMO started as a purely automobile company and today has diversified into many facets of engineering including power engineering, medical equipment, building technologies, power tools, lighting, construction machinery, warehouse solutions, etc. The relationship between DIMO and TATA Motors celebrated 50 years in 2011, which was a historic milestone for two giants in the automobile field.
Apart from Anuradhapura, DIMO branches can be found in Jaffna, Vavuniya, Puttalam, Ampara, Akkaraipattu, Kurunegala, Kandy, Matara, Dambulla, Yakkala, Ratnapura, Embilipitiya, Ambalangoda, Hatton, Padaviya and Horana, etc.
