Top line up at Colombo Uni. MBA Alumni management conference on Friday

A top line up of specialists will be the key attraction of the annual management conference organised by the Colombo University MBA Alumni Association on Friday 16 March from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo.
Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be the Chief Guest at the conference titled ‘Beyond Traditional Boundaries,’ whilst this year’s focus is ‘Mastering Your Game’.

According to the MBA Alumni the conference with an impressive line of speakers will explore the players behind the corporate game.
The conference will be keynoted by International Finance Corporation Country Manager Adam Sack whilst the other speakers are Sampath Bank Managing Director Aravinda Perera, Maliban Biscuit Manufactories CEO Sales and Marketing Ravi Jayawardena, Brown and Company CEO and Group Managing Director Murali Prakash, Prime Lands group Chairman B. Premalal and Derana TV Chairman Laksiri Wickramage.
Colombo University MBA Alumni Association said the conference brings together a diverse group of individuals, each of whom has dared to go beyond the conventional limits and as a result excelled in their respective fields.
Via their presentations these outstanding personalities will discuss what inspires them, share their recipes for success and give participants an invaluable insight into what it takes to be the master of the game.
Referring to Chief Guest’s presentation, the Colombo University MBA Alumni Association said Rajapaksa, whose Ministry also includes the Urban Development, is expected to share his strategy for making the moves that count in terms of ushering peace and development.
“Not all strategists are created equal, some go beyond the conventional to shift paradigms, drive economies and catalyse innovation,” the Colombo University MBA Alumni Association President Pubudu De Zoysa said. “Gotabaya Rajapaksa is one such strategist, whose great ideas, innovative solutions and business acumen have made seemingly-impossible feats look like child’s play,” she added. The Daily FT along with The Sunday Times and The Daily Mirror are the print media partners for the conference. Platinum partner is DIMO.
