Hambantota will host the first two ODIS while Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will host the only T20 International. According to the International Cricket Council’s Future Tours Programme India were to play three Test matches which were later changed into an ODI tour after Sri Lanka Cricket officials convinced the Board of Control for Cricket in India during a recent visit as ODIS are likely to be a financially better arrangement.
