Colombo tops at O. Level Examination. 2nd and 3rd places to the hill country

Colombo tops the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination results. The other best three are from the oustations.

Udeshika Madushani Hettiarachchi has secured the best results at the Ordinary Level Examination. She is a student from Vishaka Vidyalaya Colombo. Giving her views on the achievement, she said that she did her studies with a determined goal of becoming the best in the island.
Anusha Perera from Science College Matale secured the second place in the island. Anusha had his primary studies at Christ the King College in Matale and the Ranabima Rajakeeiya Vidyalaya.
The third slot has been secured by Bharatha Madusanka of Dharmaraja College, Kandy and Dilmie Samadhika Wimalaratne of the Pinnawala Central College in Rambukkana. Dilmie Samadhika said that she had achieved victories in several musical, oratorical and literary competitions. She said she participated in extra classes only for two subjects.
