Special parliamentary debate on UN resolution in April
Party leaders have decided to hold a two day debate in Parliament on the recently adopted resolution against Sri Lanka at the UNHRC in Geneva.
The debate is scheduled for April 3 and 4 .
It had been earlier scheduled to commence Parliament after New Year vacation on May 08 but party leaders who met today decided that the House must meet next week to hold a two day special debate on the Geneva resolution.
The debate has been requested by DNA group leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake and other party leaders have agreed with him.
