Swisstek Aluminium ISO 9001 certified

Swisstek Aluminium Limited, formerly known as Ceykor Aluminium Industries Ltd., manufacturers of aluminium profiles for the construction industry, was formally awarded the ISO 9001 certificate by the Sri Lanka Standards Institute (SLSI) at a function held at Cinnamon Lakeside, recently.

The range of products manufactured by the company includes profiles to fabricate all types doors, windows, shop fronts, partitions, curtain walls, roller shutters and ladders and also tile beading. The company, which became part of the Lanka Walltile Group in October 2010, has made rapid progress since then, achieving a market share of almost 30%.
Speaking at the occasion the Managing Director of the Lanka Walltile Group of Companies, Mahendra Jayasekera, expressed his satisfaction that the company has been able to turn around in the very first year since being managed by the Walltile Group. He also said that the company was keen to develop the aluminium industry and has already planned to invest in the latest technology towards this end.
The awarding of the ISO 9001 certificate by the Director General of SLSI Dr. L.S. Senaweera to Jayasekera was followed by a brief presentation of new profiles introduced by the Company to the market. The Quality Assurance Executive Saminda Bandara explained the benefits and advantages of using the company’s 100 mm sliding door sections and 80 mm double glazed systems as compared to similar sections available in the market.
The latest profile book of the company, giving comprehensive information on the profiles manufactured was also launched.
The function, which was followed by cocktails, was well attended by leading engineers, architects, aluminium fabricators and dealers/distributors of the company.
