SriLankan Airline acquires a new A320
Sri Lanka’s national carrier, SriLankan Airlines has acquired a new Airbus A320, thus expanding its fleet to a total of 23 aircrafts.
The Airline says, the new aircraft consist of 20 Business class seats and 120 Economy class seats.
It is also equipped with sophisticated In-flight Entertainment systems and in-seat Audio Video on Demand, both in business and economy class.
Its entertainment package also consists of 25 movies, 9 TV channels, 25 audio channels and 15 games.
With the latest acquisition, the national carrier’s fleet unit now includes eight medium – range A320’s, seven twin-engine wide-body A330’s, and six long-haul A 340’s.
SriLankan says it also possess two De Havilland Twin Otter float planes for domestic services.
