Sri Lanka Telecom, the premier telecommunication service provider in Sri Lanka continues to extend its support to CIMA’s Business Leaders Summit every year. The Business Leaders Summit which is a star feature in CIMA’s business calendar will feature lively mix of both local and global celebrities  from the corporate world, organised with the sole purpose of enlightening the business leaders  of Sri Lanka’s corporate world on global business leader’s best practices and what’s in store as ‘next practices’. The event is scheduled to take place at Cinnamon Grand on 11-12 June.

To mark this partnership Sri Lanka Telecom CEO Greg Young handed over the strategic partner sponsorship to CIMA Regional Director, Middle East, South Asia and North Africa Bradley Emerson.
Young commented, “As the economic power structure around the globe is being drastically reshaped, it’s important for every individual and organization in the business world to re-evaluate their power make-up. If their power so far relied on anything other than form, flexibility and force, it is important to reshape and change, if they are to continue to survive in the long term. This year’s summit once again touches a timely and extremely valuable theme in light of today’s highly competitive and volatile business environment that has been further challenged by scarce resources. Sri Lanka Telecom, as the Strategic Partner, is proud to extend our wholehearted support towards CIMA’s Business Leaders’ Summit 2012 towards empowering professionalism in Sri Lanka.”
Emerson said, “Enhancing knowledge is probably the primary corporate social responsibility.  For CIMA, enhancing knowledge is business as usual and the CIMA Business Leaders Summit is the pinnacle of such an effort.  We attempt to draw knowledge from people who have influenced the business globally.  An effort of this nature needs support from the corporate world and we are indeed pleased that Sri Lanka Telecom has committed to be the Strategic Partner for the CIMA Business Leaders Summit for this year.  CIMA greatly appreciates and thanks the management of the Sri Lanka Telecom for supporting CIMA over the past decade in an effort to transform national ability to global capability.”
