Old Zahira to hold U20 all island inter-school hockey 7s on 10 June

The members of Old Zahira Hockey Association is organising an under 20 all island inter school seven a side hockey tournament for the first time in Zahira College History.
This event is an initiative to commemorate the 120 years of excellence of Zahira College. In this regard Zahira College is organising a series of event to commemorate the 120 years anniversary in a grand style.
This event is scheduled to be held on 10 June, from 8p.m. onwards.
Ananda College, Bandaranayaka College Gampaha, Dharmaraja College Kandy, D S Senanayaka College, Joseph Vaz College Wennappuwa, Maristella College Negombo, Nalanda College, Royal College, St. Aloysious College Galle, St. Peter’s College, St. Sylvesters College Kandy, St. Thomas’s College, Mount Lavinia. Thomas’s College, Matale, Wesley College, Zahira College and Zahira College, Matale are the schools taking part for this tournament.
The teams will be competing for Cup Championship and Plate Championship. The winning team will receive TB Jayah Memorial trophy at this event.
