Hutch dials partnership with SLT Rainbow Pages

Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka Ltd. recently announced its partnership with SLT Rainbow Pages to offer Hutch customers directory information by simply dialling 4636 at any time 24×7.

The partnership will further enhance services offered by Hutch. When a Hutch customer dials the short code 4636, a call centre agent will assist the Hutch Chief Operating Officer AnandPraksh (fourth from left) exchanges the agreement with SLT Rainbow Pages CEO Malraj Balapitiya. Others from left are Hutch Head of Roaming and VAS Arul Vaz, International Roaming Administrator Dilip Perera, General Manager, Marketing Sanjaya Senarath, SLT Rainbow Pages General Manger Sales and Marketing Ruwan Wijeytunga and Manager Business Development Dunimda Chandrasiricustomer to obtain information on services from the smallest nail to industrial hardware items, from cakes to bakery products, from simple toy cars to luxury motorcars, hospitals, cinema halls and many more. A list of possible service providers along with their phone numbers will be shared instantly with the customer as soon as the inquiry is completed via phone. This information will also be dispatched via SMS for the convenience of the caller.
Hutch Chief Operating Officer Anand Prakash said, “Hutch will continue to pursue partnerships of this nature in order to bring new services to customers. This service enables our customers to access information much faster while keeping convenience in mind. We believe this would be a boon to their busy life styles while saving valuable time.”

SLT Publication (Pvt.) Ltd popularly known as Rainbow Pages is a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lankan Telecom PLC. This service will be of great benefit to Hutch customers; apart from the Call Centre Services SLT Rainbow Pages directory information is available through the Directory CD, WEB (www.rainbowpages.lk), Mobile WEB (www.rainbowpages.mobi) and also on PEO TV and this makes Rainbow Pages information accessible to anyone from anywhere at any time.
SLT Rainbow Pages has also developed other directories such as the Tourist Directory which was launched mid last year in keeping with the government’s effort of promoting Sri Lanka as tourist destination, and recently a Wedding Directory website (www.weddingdirectory.lk) was launched and this will be followed by a print directory in early November 2012, which will be of great assistance to those getting married in the near future.
