Corporate event management specialist B-Connected is celebrating 15 years of success.
Identifying a niche market for corporate event management, B-Connected was started as a small one-woman enterprise in 1997.
Today it has grown and diversified, its roots spreading from event management to recruitment, office support services and more.

Events and conference management remains the core business of B-Connected with local, international and regional conferences being its niche.
The company has wide experience having successfully operated as the Secretariat for a number of prestigious corporate, INGO and Government events, some of the most recent being the National HRM Awards, Sancharaka Udawa, in collaboration with SLAITO, the FAO IGG International Tea Conference in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tea Board.
It has earned a reputation as a total event-solutions provider and has membership with the Sri Lanka Association of Professional Conference and Event Organisers (SLAPCEO). Over the years, the number of services have grown, linked and interconnected.
During the post-tsunami period, the company met a surge in the demand for more diversified services mainly from foreign missions and NGOs for staff support services ranging from translators and interpreters to database management and logistics support. This led among others to the development of the recruitment and outsourcing arm of the company.
The company’s clientele includes International donor organisations, professional organisations, corporate sector and foreign missions. More recently B-Connected entered the arena of wedding planning.
“Integrity, Commitment and Passion – these are the principles on which our business is rooted,” says Managing Director Felicia Adhihetty. “All staff are bound by these principles and this is why we have so many repeat clients,” she added.
Its only marketing tool has been its website www.bconnected.lk which was placed at the Most Favourite Sri Lankan Website 2010 Awards.
Driving forward with an experienced and committed team, B-Connected is geared to deliver more successful events, recruitment and office support services.
