Outward Bound Trust – Sri Lanka responds

We write to draw your attention to the news item under the heading of ‘Team sprit among MBA students at the University of Peradeniya’ with two pictures  in the Daily FT on 22 June using the name an ‘Outward-Bound’ in the context of the Training Program organised by The MBA Association ,University of Peradeniya .

‘Outward Bound®’ is a Trade Mark owned by the Outward Bound International and Outward Bound Trust –Sri Lanka .The use of the world ‘Outward Bound’ in the context of an adventure training program by anyone other than the Outward Bound Trust-Sri Lanka, is an infringement of our trademark rights. Outward Bound International is a net work of over 40 school serving in 33 countries.
This program referred to in the article has no connection at all with Outward Bound Trust of Sri Lanka.
