A superior tyre that employs the latest Indian tyre technology and advanced compounds to deliver robust performance for buses and lorries has been launched by CEAT Kelani Tyres, in a further expansion of its market-leading portfolio in the commercial tyre segment.

This high quality new 18 PR tyre branded ‘CEAT Mile XL,’ is especially recommended and specifically engineered for use in large vehicles hauling heavy loads of goods such as timber, sand, cement and paddy. It is available in two sizes, 9.00 20 and 10.00 20.
Ravi Dadlani, Vice President Sales & Marketing of CEAT Kelani said: “The increased Non Skid Depth (NSD) of the all-new ‘CEAT Mile XL’ also substantially enhances its mileage over tyres of competing brands available in the market, making it an economical option.”
“The launch of ‘CEAT Mile XL’ raises the bar in terms of performance and mileage while strengthening CEAT’s solid credentials in high quality innovations that precisely address the needs of consumers.”
Raman Rajagopalan, Vice President Commercial & Business Development at CEAT Kelani said the CEAT Miles XL tyre is also expected to contribute significantly to increased sales volumes and the company’s export earnings.
Operators of commercial vehicles in the categories served by the new tyre have been offered the facility of calling the CEAT Technical Service and Customer Care team on 0718724189 to obtain fitment recommendations for the CEAT Mile XL.
CEAT is the market leader in Sri Lanka the truck/light truck segment with a market share of 56 per cent. The company is also the market leader in the three-wheeler and radial categories with shares of 39 per cent and 20 per cent respectively.
